Huntsville Vascular Specialists PC
Multimodality treatment of arterial, venous, and lymphatic problems
Gary M. Gross, MD
For arterial problems, we offer a comprehensive range of physiologic,
doppler noninvasive, and arteriographic diagnostic studies, assessment of all
treatment options, and treatment with endovascular and full surgical procedures.
Many patients have improved with only medication and life-style changes,
and do not require any other interventions. Problems treated include arterial irregularities, blockages, and aneurysms.
More detailed information is to be added to this web-site in the future.
Visit our Vein Treatment Center at
Vvein.com
The vein center has
helped many patients to eliminate unsightly veins (cosmetic treatments). But some patients
have more complicated pain, swelling, and ulceration problems
due to venous hypertension (from reflux, varicosities, or chronic changes due
to phlebitis). In these situations of pain or skin changes, it is important
to realize that simply removing or injecting a few varicose veins outside of a medical center
may not help at all. This website will display some of the modern methods and results (used
in our own patients) now available for venous treatment. These include venous stenting,
endoscopic subfascial perforator ligation, and combined ambulatory phlebectomy or ablation
with contributing perforator ligation.
